RED CARPET REPORT: THE OSCARS 2013

The finale of Awards Season is upon us and I must admit this is one of the best red carpets, I have seen in a long time and I can’t pick my favourite! I have very little negative things to say about how everyone is dressed.

Wearing Tony Ward, I think Kelly could have found a much better dress. Ward is a fantastic designer and has much more fabulous dresses than this. However, I am sure Fashion Police will love it.

Kelly Rowland has such a statuesque, amazing figure that I felt was hidden under this. Also people need to get over the leg showing dress. It’s over now.

I hated her Golden Globe look but it seems she was saving the best til last. She looks every inch the Hollywood starlet oozing Old Hollywood Glamour. Simply stunning in Armani.

It’s the Oscars not your wedding. I hope she wins the Oscar but she does not win my approval with this Dior dress. She is also after loosing so much weight- no longer the fat girl in Hollywood. (I never thought she was fat in the first place- it was terrible she was called this!)

Naomi Watts looked stunning. She looks more flawless the older she gets. I loved the asymmetrical top on this Armani Prive dress. Her and her husband Liev Schreiber looked like such a attractive couple.

How old is Sally Fields? 66! That’s how old! I think she looks amazing and her dress is classy, elegant, age appropriate yet still daring and eye catching with the train and the bold color.

Jane Fonda outshone some of the young, hot Hollywood who walked the carpet. This woman is 75! I mean it doesn’t get much better than this. She looks amazing.

Kerry Washington wore Miu Miu to the Golden Globes and I was not impressed so I am glad she chose them again for tonight, showing Miu Miu can do amazing red carpet looks. The color is fantastic on her skin ad the embellishment on this form fitting dress is beautiful.

I don’t really have much to say about Charlize and her Dior gown. Meh. Next.

I like Giuliana Rancic’s hair and love that she is wearing a red lip. The gown is lovely but you could easily pick something similar to this up in Coast for €250! Not really Oscars. More Rose of Tralee.

I didn’t really like this dress worn by Amy Adams- too feathery!

I wore a dress like this to a debs in 2005. Not impressed.

I hate to say something negative about McQueen so I won’t. I love the dress but I think it washes out Amanda Seyfried in this particular instance. Would have been fabulous on Jessica Alba.

Actress Olivia Munn rocked the red carpet and showed exactly how to pull off Oscar red carpet glamour.

Channing Tatum’s wife, Jenna, looks outstanding and I love that she still wore a form fitting dress even though she is pregnant. She looks great!

My favourite from the night, Zoe Saldana wearing Alexis Mabille. This was the designer’d red carpet debut and what a perfect debut it was. Zoe looks immaculate. This is my best dressed from the night.

So that’s what I thought of the red carpet. What did you think? Comment below or on my Facebook page or for a faster response tweet me!
