Let’s be honest, we all want to take great photos. I am totally against airbrushing your own images, (I mean come on we all know you don’t look like that in real life) but at least we can take some nice pictures using a few simple make-up tricks.
I hate when I see pictures of me where my body is tanned (whether fake or real) and yet my face is still white no matter how much bronzer I put on.
The flash on the camera will always whiten your face- it doesn’t how much bronzer you have on.
Here are some tips to stop this happening.
Tip 1: Use a darker foundation
You should have a different foundation for day and night. Your night foundation should be a darker than your day one, especially if you are a fake tan lover.
Tip 2: Match the night foundation to your tan
If you wear tan on nights out, then wear the tan you use when foundation shopping and test the foundation against your neck or chest so that the foundation matches your tan and you are all one colour!
Don’t test foundation on your face if you wear tan and definitely don’t test it on the back of your hand- this is not the colour of your neck!
Tip 3: Don’t use a foundation with SPF
SPF reflects the light from the flash and causes your skin to look even whiter than it is. If you are on a night out, don’t use a foundation with an SPF in it. Try one like Revlon Colour Whipped Foundation. It allows for flawless looking pictures!
I hope these simple tips are helpful to you and help you avoid that white face, tanned body when taking pictures!
