Another month is over so it’s time for my August 2012 favourites! (Can anyone else believe it’s September already??)
Let’s get straight into this!
MAC’s FIX +
How I lived without this product I will never know! It acts as a finishing spray and really helps keep your make-up stay on. (Read how I keep my make-up on here!) It also really refreshes your face and gives it a lovely radiance! I will be doing a review on this product this week!
Boots Tea-tree and Witch hazel Peel Off Mask!
This product left my skin feeling amazing! The tea tree and witch hazel leave your skin feeling refreshed, super soft and really cleansed! I will be using this once every week from now on to keep break outs at bay as well as a way of deep cleaning your skin.
17 Nail Polish in Fairy Cake
I have been wearing this nail varnish all month and have been getting plenty of compliments for it. The bubble gum pink was a great colour for summer but I think I might have to look for a new shade for Winter! (Read my review here!)
St. Ives Apricot Scrub
I love this. I have heard that fruit scrubs aren’t the best for your skin so I just use this one on my T-Zone. It leaves your skin really soft and it smells good enough to eat! (click to buy)
Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer
This is my product of the moment. I wasn’t a big user of concealer but this one shows such a dramatic difference. It is amazing for when you have had a late one and need to look bright eyed the next day! I bought mine in ivory! (Read my full review here)
Illamasqua Lip Pencil
I bought this medium pencil in Fiesty. It is a hot coral red colour that I line and colour in my lips with before I apply my Inglot no.126 lipstick .
It really helps the lipstick stay on longer. Illamasqua products are not available in Ireland anymore so if you want to buy their products, visit their website.
Garnier BB cream
I have just jumped on the BB cream bandwagon and got the Garnier BB cream. I wanted something to wear to work instead of foundation as I hate the feeling of wearing make-up all day everyday. BB cream is great if you don’t need much coverage. I really love it and will be wearing it during the week instead of foundation. I will be doing a full review on it this week.
