REVIEW: RIMMEL LONDON STAY MATTE PRESSED POWDER

As you may have read in my Boots Haul the other day, I picked up this pressed powder from Rimmel London. I always set my make-up with powder, however usually I use a translucent powder and carry my MAC studio Fix Powder in my handbag for touch ups throughout the day if I need it.

The Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder promises to keep shine at bay for 5 hours and it certainly does that. I am in love with this product. I bought it in Silk Beige and I just applied it to my face over my foundation to set the make-up. Because is it a pressed powder and has a colour in it, it provides even more coverage and leaves your skin looking flawless.

As much as I love my Studio Fix from MAC, I find it quite heavy and I can almost feel it sitting on my skin. I do not get that feeling with this Rimmel powder at all. At only €6.05 I definitely recommend this product to you.

Have you ever tried it before? What did you think? What is your favourite powder? Have you used these products before? Comment below or on my Facebook page or for a faster response tweet me!

  1. I’ve never tried this or Rimmel in general. I am looking for a new pressed powder to use though, so I think I will definitely give this a try if they have it in the US 🙂
